Privacy Policy

This explains what STUKFUN collects, why, and how it’s used. STUKFUN is operated by Odinala.

1. What we collect

Account info: name, email, and a password (stored as a hash, never in plain text) — or, if you sign up with Google, your name, email, and profile picture from your Google account.

Profile info: your chosen username, bio, and avatar (if you upload one).

Content: posts, replies, quotes, reactions, bookmarks, and follows — along with any images, GIFs, or video you attach to a post.

Usage and device data: IP address, browser type, and basic activity logs, collected automatically for security and to keep the service running.

2. Cookies

STUKFUN uses a single session cookie to keep you signed in. It’s set by our authentication system, scoped to stukfun.com, and marked HTTP-only so it can’t be read by page scripts. We don’t use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

3. How we use it

• To create and secure your account, and keep you signed in.
• To show your posts, profile, and activity to other users, as the product is designed to do.
• To send transactional email — verifying your address, password resets — never marketing without your consent.
• To display NGX ticker and price data alongside discussion.
• To detect abuse, spam, and violations of our Terms of Service.

4. Who we share it with

We don’t sell your personal data. It’s shared only with the service providers that make STUKFUN work — hosting, database storage, media storage, and email delivery — each processing it solely to provide that service to us. If you sign in with Google, your authentication is handled by Google. We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

5. Your content is public by design

Posts, replies, reactions, and your profile are visible to anyone who visits STUKFUN, signed in or not — that’s the point of the product. Don’t post anything you don’t want public. Deleting a post removes it from your profile and the feed, but copies may persist briefly in caches or backups.

6. Your choices

You can edit your profile, delete individual posts, or delete your account entirely from settings. Deleting your account removes your profile and posts from public view; some data may be retained where we’re legally required to keep it (e.g. for fraud prevention). To request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it manually, contact us below.

7. Security

Passwords are hashed, not stored in plain text. Data in transit is encrypted (HTTPS). No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

8. Children

STUKFUN is not directed at anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect data from them.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
